Following the shutdown of the Condition Spend Data Collection (CSDC) and the removal of the Capital Spend Data (CSD) from the School Capacity Collection, we have introduced a new portal. The operational changes made are as follows:
DfE is conducting the collection of data on each responsible body’s (RB) use of the School Condition Allocation (SCA), and Basic Need funding from the 2019 to 2020 financial year (FY) onwards. The current survey round should at a minimum contain all projects that were completed on or after the 1st of April 2019 and on or before the 31st of March 2020. Respondents can also provide information on projects completed after the 31st of March 2020, and any projects which are ongoing and have not yet completed, however this is not compulsory at this stage.
Data can only be submitted using the online portal and copies of the data sent by email will not be accepted. The portal will automatically display details of the SCA fund allocated to your RB, alongside any previous reported spends, for the 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21 financial years. It will be updated to include subsequent years of funding as they become available.
The 18th of May 2021. This has been extended from the 27th of April 2021. Any errors in the data must be corrected in the portal before the finalised data is submitted.
